I know it’s probably too late to ask a question, but I was wondering if there is a simpler or faster way to solve #14.
So I first found the eigenvalues, obtained the eigenvectors from them (and nonsingular S for D^n = S^-1 * A^n * S), set A^n = S * D^n * S^-1, found inverse of S, and multiplied S, D^n, and S^-1 together using matrix multiplication.
This took me a while to do, and I saw that #15 had a trick, so I was wondering if there is any faster way to get A^n for #14.
